Should expats get a vote in Britain?

French citizens who live outside their home country are to get their own representatives for the first time with 11 MPs to be elected next year on behalf of the two-and-a-half million strong French expatriate community.

There will be MPs for the US and Canada, Northern Europe, and North and East Africa.

British expat Brian Cave and now lives in France and Labour peer, Lord Lipsey discuss whether it is time the UK followed suit.
