Sir Ming Campbell: 'Cameron had no option' on EU treaty

Sir Menzies Campbell has said that Britain's use of the veto to step aside from a new EU fiscal treaty was "inevitable".

The former leader of the Liberal Democrats concedes that David Cameron was left "with no option" as he couldn't have come back "without achieving safeguards" for the financial services of the country.
