Anonymous NHS data 'impossible to trace back'

As part of the drive to make the UK a more attractive place for medical research and the pharmaceutical industry, the government will propose greater access to the wealth of healthcare data within the NHS, including anonymised patient records.

Joyce Robins, co-director of the organisation Patient Concern and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Neal Patel discuss if the anonymity of patients be guaranteed.
