There are parliamentary elections in Russia tomorrow.

David Clark, the chairman of the Russia Foundation which tries to encourage democracy in Russia, explains that although he believes there is "no doubt at all" that Putin will become president again, as "elections are carefully managed", there remains a "palpable sense" that the system is "beginning to loosen".

He adds that there is an "increasing sense" that Russian's don not have much choice about who to choose.
