CQC respond to Audit Office criticism

Spending watchdog The National Audit Office has criticised the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which is responsible for inspecting hospitals and care homes in England, after finding that it failed to carry out half of its planned inspections in a six month period last year.

Chief Executive of the CQC Cynthia Bower gives her response.
