Britain 'playing' with Syrian opposition

As fresh anti-government protests erupted and France called for the UN to act against President Bashar Assad, the British Foreign Secretary William Hague is going to hold talks with the leaders of the rebellion in Syria.

Middle east correspondent Jim Muir says that Britain will be "encouraging the opposition to unify its ranks and agree on a coherent political platform".
