Surfing Soweto is a new film that follows a group of teenagers from South Africa's most famous township whose principle activity is riding on top of trains.

Dr June Bam-Hutchison, a South African academic and author and the film's director Sara Blecher talk about the generation of poor South Africans caught between the anti-apartheid movement and slow moving democratic change.
