'Here in Syria we are being killed every day'

The Arab League is holding an emergency meeting in Cairo this morning to consider what to do about Syria and the continuing violence there. Syria had promised the Arab League it would end the violence, but the peace plan they agreed seemed to make no difference to what happened on the ground, and now there are growing calls for the organisation to suspend Syria.

Despite the difficulties in speaking openly to people in the country, our reporter Andrew Hosken has managed to hear first hand about some of the violence that continues there.

And the writer and commentator on Middle Eastern affairs Hazhir Teimourian outlines the prospects for the Syrian regime.
