Comrades 'disappeared right before my eyes'

As millions of people across the UK prepare to observe a two-minute silence later to mark Armistice Day, one highly-decorated veteran of World War II has written a book, Second Chance, to try to educate today's youngsters about what the War meant for them.

Dr Steve Weiss, the book's author and a former American GI, recalls the fighting.
