Sir Michael Parkinson on Joe Frazier

Heavyweight boxer Joe Frazier, who has died at the age of 67, was the one man who frightened Muhammad Ali, Sir Michael Parkinson has said.

Speaking on the Today programme, Sir Michael recounted being hit by Frazier while recording a pre-fight television interview.

"I had bells ringing in my head for about a week afterwards," he said.
