Build HS2 tracks 'from both ends'

MPs on the transport select committee have raised concern about the environmental and cost of the government's plans for high speed rail (HS2).

Ian Williams, from Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chambers of Commerce, says he is disappointed that work on the rail network will not be started until 2032. However, he agrees that a "major overhaul" of the country's transport system is needed.
