'We lived the dream that we're equal'

The Egyptian feminist and novelist Dr Nawal El-Saadawi was given the Outstanding Achievement award at the Women of the Year lunch for her life's work as an activist and novelist.

She took part in the protests in Tahrir Square earlier this year and in the week of her 80th birthday, Dr El-Saadawi described how she felt during the recent revolution and what her hopes for the future were.
