Boards 'need male/female balance'

FTSE 100 boards were last year told to aim for a minimum of 25% female representation by 2015, but the latest figures show women are faring badly in the labour market. Baroness Sheila Noakes, one of two new non-executive directors appointed to the RBS board in August 2011, explains the difficulty women face in getting executive positions.
