Still from Dreams of a Life

The story of the death of Joyce Carol Vincent, a 38-year-old woman who lay dead and undiscovered in her London bedsit above a busy shopping centre in London for three years, has been made into a film.

The film's director, Carol Morley, explained to Today reporter Nicola Stanbridge why Dreams of a Life is far from a "miserablist" film.
