PM's 'diabetic drivers' comments explained

In his speech at the Tory Party conference, David Cameron referred to an EU directive about whether people with diabetes should be allowed to drive, something which he saw as "pointless new regulation".

Simon O'Neill, director of care and advocacy at the charity Diabetes UK explains what the prime minister was referring to.
