Universities must 'do more to reach out to schools'

Nearly one in four universities and colleges failed to meet their own targets to recruit more poor students last year, according to the Office for Fair Access (Offa).

Director of the Sutton Trust Sir Peter Lampl calls on institutions to do more to attract students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

And the universities minister David Willetts reacts to the findings.
