Met's 'worrying mindset' on Dowler stories

On Tuesday, London's Metropolitan Police Service, said it had dropped an application to force the Guardian newspaper to disclose the sources for its reports on the News International phone-hacking affair. The Guardian's editor, Alan Rusbridger, analyses the effect of this and what it means.
