Fire control centre plan 'wasted 500m'

A plan to replace fire control rooms with new regional centres ended in "complete failure", at a cost of almost half a billion pounds to the taxpayer, according to MPs. Labour MP Margaret Hodge, chair of the Public Accounts Committee, explains what went wrong.
