'Distortion in priorities' at CQC

The Care Quality Commission (CQC), which monitors standards in hospitals and care homes, is being criticised by the cross-party commons Health Select Committee today, accused of spending too much time on administration and not enough on the inspections.

The committee's chair, Tory MP Stephen Dorrell, outlines the report.
