Lifting rioter's anonymity 'counter-productive'

Sixteen-year-old Johnny Melfah from Droitwich, who admitted to inciting disorder during the riots, is the first juvenile offender to have his childhood right to anonymity removed from him by magistrates.

John Thornhill, chairman of the Magistrates Association and Julian Young, a criminal defence barrister, debate whether the decision was "reasonable".
