Government 'too optimistic' on work scheme


The government's back-to-work scheme, which was set up to help 2.4 million long term unemployed Britons back into jobs, is facing failure and needs an urgent rethink, according to a think tank.

Ian Mulheirn, director of the Social Market Foundation, and employment minister Chris Grayling debate whether the scheme's performance targets are simply unreachable.
