Mending the 'me, me, me society'

The prime minister has said that "a complete lack of responsibility, a lack of proper parenting, a lack of proper upbringing," are at the heart of the rioting that has swept the UK.

Today reporter Nicola Stanbridge visited the Haven youth project in north London, which is trying to address the problem.

"You might know how to raise a kid. You might raise a kid well, but it's not about you. It's when they go out in the street and find the wrong crowd," one 23-year-old told her.

"I got myself in trouble."
