'Unlikely' al-Qaeda behind Mumbai attack

Three explosions in India's commercial capital Mumbai have killed 17 people and injured 81, in what is being described as a co-ordinated terrorist attack.

Jason Burke, south Asia correspondent of the Guardian and expert on Islamic militancy, reflects on the impact of the bombing and why it is "very unlikely" to have been al-Qaeda.
