Police 'had acres of info' on phone hacking

The phone hacking scandal took an unexpected turn yesterday with the news that the murdered school girl Milly Dowler's phone had been hacked after she went missing.

Brian Paddick, former deputy assistant commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, whose own phone was hacked, considers why News of the World is once more in the spotlight.
