Lord Howe: Reagan 'a formidable leader'

It is the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Ronald Reagan, the 40th president of the United States, and a new statue of him will be unveiled on 4 July in Grosvenor Square, London.

Lord Howe, Margaret Thatcher's foreign minster while Reagan was in power, describes a man of "authority and warmth" who made a "decisive impact on the world in which we live".
