Cutting legal aid 'not an act of masochism'

The government is today expected to announce reforms of sentencing in England and Wales, as well as plans to cut the legal aid budget by £350m.

Legal affairs correspondent Clive Coleman reports on the controversial bill.

Des Hudson, chief executive of the Law Society, and Ben Gummer, a Conservative member of the Justice Committee, debate if cutting legal aid will really help the tax payer.
