The three biggest political parties dominate the headlines in the run-up to this week's local elections in England but it's also an opportunity for the smaller parties to make an impact.
With the emergence of a coalition government, and the gradual breakdown of tribal party loyalties - some believe voters may now be more willing to support minority parties.
