'Violence breeds violence' in Syria

The UN security council will meet today to discuss the possibility of EU sanctions on Syria, yet it is widely agreed that military action is not the solution.

The Reverend Nadim Nassar, a Syrian-born Anglican priest living in Britain, and Patrick Seale, a Syria expert and biographer of President Assad, debate what should or can be done.
