Secret police 'call shots in Syria'

Questions remain over how to approach the situation in Syria, where the dictatorship is reported to be using violence to crush pro-democracy protesters.

Professor Scott Lucas of Birmingham University, who specialises in Iran and Syria, and Sir Andrew Green, Britain's former ambassador to Syria, discuss how a country that is so influential to the region can be convinced to stop.
