'Right decision' made on volcanic ash cloud

New scientific research has revealed that aviation authorities were right to halt flights following the eruption of an Icelandic volcano a year ago.

One of the report's authors, Susan Stipp, of the University of Copenhagen, explains how the ash cloud could have done serious damage to aircraft.
