Mail Online enjoys spectacular success

The Daily Mail is the world's second largest English-language newspaper site. It recorded 39m hits in March, second only to the NY Times which got 61m. What is it about the Mail's website that is drawing in record numbers? Stephen Glover, media columnist for The Independent and for the Daily Mail and John Burns, London bureau chief for the NY Times, try to provide some answers.
