AV 'won't solve low turnout'

In only three weeks time, Britain will vote on a whether to adopt the Alternative Vote system, an issue that has not yet seemed to grip the hearts or minds of the nation.

In order to explore the impact of the system, John Curtice, professor of politics at the University of Strathclyde, looks at how AV would have affected the last few election results.
