AV vote 'yet to set pulse racing'

Next month, Britain will vote on whether to keep its current electoral system or change to the alternative vote, which allows voters to give their preferences as well as their first choice.

The BBC's political editor Nick Robinson outlines the Yes and No campaigns.

And the Conservative MP Daniel Kawczynski, who chairs the all party parliamentary group for the promotion of the present first-past-the-post system, and the former Labour cabinet minister John Denham, who supports AV, debate which system works best.
