Syrian unrest 'not even expected by opposition'

Protests are continuing in towns and cities across Syria, including in the capital Damascus, a day after the government announced limited changes designed to end popular unrest. As the BBC's Owen Bennett-Jones reports, President Assad is facing the biggest challenge to his power since he came to office.
