Can design cut assaults on A and E staff?

Around 150 assaults happen every day on health care staff in England, many in A&E departments.

Now there are plans to cut that as three hospitals are taking part in a year-long project commissioned by the Department of Health.

Matt Hunter, the Design Council's chief design officer discusses the project aimed at reducing violence and aggression.
