The hardest music ever written?

The BBC Symphony orchestra is attempting to play one of the most difficult pieces of music by a radical British-born composer Brian Ferneyhough.

One of his works is so complex it requires a score that is 4ft (1.2m) thick.

Arts Correspondent Rebecca Jones investigates whether the music of Brian Ferneyhough is the hardest ever written.
