Will Scotland choose another makar?

It is over four months since Scotland's first poet laureate Edwin Morgan died, but the post of "makar" left vacant by his death has yet to be filled.

The writer AL Kennedy considers what is being done to find a successor, and why there have been calls for a clearer definition of the post.
