NUT: Free schools 'a poor idea'

The National Union of Teachers has said that the government's new "free schools" in England are not wanted and will not work.

General Secretary of the NUT Christine Blower and Mark Lehane, a former NUT representative and a maths teacher who hopes to set up a free school in Bedford this year, debate the schools policy.
