Thousands of older people 'isolated'

About 40,000 elderly people in England live socially isolated in care homes, according to a new survey.

Reporter Nicola Stanbridge went to one care home near Wembley where staff say about a quarter of the patients rarely get visited by family and friends.

And Judy Downey, of the Relatives and Residents Association, examines the issue.
