BBC documentary gave 'wrong impression'

The BBC is apologising unreservedly today for a documentary that gave the impression, unfairly it turned out, that money donated to Band Aid in the mid 80s ended up in the hands of rebel soldiers in Ethiopia.

The director of BBC Global News, Peter Horrocks, explains why the apology for the "wrong impression" was delayed.
