Young people 'play loud music as a weapon'

Sony are ceasing production of the Walkman, the iconic personal cassette player and irritating bete noir of many a novel-reading commuter.

Tom Bateman has been on a bus to examine the continuing phenomenon of music encroaching on private space, now known as Sodcasting, and writer Sarfraz Manzoor examines the ethics of listening to personal music players in public.
