Warning over UK 'brain drain'

The heads of six of Britain's top universities have warned that cuts in the government's science budget will harm the research base, universities and the economy as a whole.

Lord John Krebs, chairman of the Lords' Science and Technology Committee, voices his concerns that the best researchers will move to countries which are investing more in research and development.
