Speculators 'not to blame for higher food costs'

The price of wheat is going through the roof and people are dying because of it. In Mozambique there have been riots over the price of bread and it is feared there will be more to come. What is the role of financial speculators in all this? David Hightower, an analyst based in Chicago who specialises in commodities, discusses if the banks are guilty of speculating in food contracts.
