'No evidence' that stem cell therapies work

Scientists in the UK are warning desperate patients to steer clear of foreign clinics offering unproven stem cell therapies.

Professor Peter Coffey of University College London outlines his belief that there is no reliable evidence that any of the costly treatments for conditions like Parkinson's disease, diabetes or blindness actually work.
