Victor Bout, an alleged Russian arms dealer once described by Peter Hain MP as "a merchant of death", is facing extradition from Thailand to the US where he is accused of conspiring to supply weapons to rebels in Colombia. Mr Bout denies being, or ever having been, an arms dealer.
