Does weight loss surgery work?

The use of bariatric, or weight loss surgery, has increased ten times in NHS hospitals in England since 2000, according to a recent study.

British Medical Journal report author Paul Aylin and Delia Stearnes, who has had weight loss surgery, discuss how effective this surgery is and whether it is becoming overused.
