'50,000 plus' holidays cancelled

Goldtrail, a British tour operator specialising in holidays to Turkey and Greece, has gone into administration with about 16,000 customers abroad.

Simon Calder, travel editor for the Independent, analyses the consequences of the collapse for holidaymakers who have booked with the company.
