Why should the UK space programme continue?

The UK Space Agency has awarded £3.65 million for three new space missions; one to orbit the sun, another to search for new planets and a third to investigate dark energy.

Professor Ian Roxburgh, from Queen Mary University in London, argues why the space programme should continue.
