US peace envoy George Mitchell is back in Jerusalem this morning to continue his attempt to arrange direct talks between Israelis and Palestinians.

But in that time Israeli activists in Jerusalem have worked steadily - with the help of the state - to make the city more Jewish.
Middle East Editor Jeremy Bowen has had rare access to some of their properties in Israeli-occupied east Jerusalem where Jewish activists live behind heavy security.
