A Catholic priest in Belfast has told of how he was confronted by a 9-year-old rioter during the violence in the city.
Father Gary Donegan described how young boys were "playing it up for the girls" and posting the results on social networks.
"Recreational rioting is the term that's used, but it was a bit like a Euro Disney theme park for rioting. It was ludicrous," he told Today presenter Evan Davis.
"I had children facing down hardened mainstream Republicans... they were taking it from these young people, who were literally out of control."
